From my initial consultation though to the completion of my treatment I was confident that Paul was dedicated to getting the best results for me. He is knowable, and able to explain in simple terms my condition and the possible treatments and outcomes. The chosen treatment was carried out without fuss and at a time that was convenient to me. I had a post operative complication from a pre-existing condition (Bakes Cyst) which was quickly diagnosed and corrected. Paul is a "100 MPH" individual; this was not a problem for me as I was confident enough to slow the pace when I felt need a little time to absorb what was being said. This could be a slight issue for people with less confidence. Overall Paul is a wonderful doctor who I feel got the best result for me.

I found Mr Trikha an extremely competent and experienced consultant. He listened to all of my concerns and answered them politely and truthfully. At no time did he give me the impression that I was just another patient I was recommended to him from my GP and I would have no problem in recommending him to any other patient considering a knee replacement.

The initial consultation was very prompt with excellent appointment availability. I was booked into have an MRI the following day which confirmed Mr Trikha’s diagnosis. I was able to choose from multiple appointments for the procedure which took place at the Nuffield in Woking. The operation was fantastic, I walked out the hospital only a few hours later with no pain and experienced no pain over the following days. There was minimal swelling and the knee returned to its normal size within a few days. Having met with my physiotherapist four days post op for the first session, they were stunned with the lack of swelling and controlled movement within the joint. I was cycling within a week, and running again at six weeks. My physiotherapist described the operation as the best arthroscopy he had even seen. I can not praise Mr Trikha enough.

I was very fortunate that my Dr sent me to Mr p Trikha for my knee. I found him very understanding, very easy to talk to and he listened to my worries. After attending his NHS clinic at Cobham It became apparent that I needed a MRI scan to find out what the problem was, which under the NHS would take 5 weeks. We decided as we had booked a once in a lifetime holiday that we realised that time was a major problem, so Mr Trikha suggested that we could go as a private patient, because of the time scale.he went into great detail for us explaining everything, we decided to go down this route. He immediately rang the hospital and arranged for me to have the MRI that same night, on results it was found that I required an operation , the wheels were set in motion to accommodate my problem and was carried out successfully . I can only say that I found the whole experience excellent in every way including everyone at the hospital together with the 3 follow up appointments after the operation . I certainly would highly recommend Mr P Trikha and cannot praise him enough. He is a very strait forward Consultant very easy to talk to, he explains everything to you , what to expect, what I have to do, also, explains the financial side of having an operation privately. I never felt pushed or rushed into anything. I found Mr P Trikha a very understanding person . I would just like to say a big Thank You to him.

Before choosing a surgeon for my ACL reconstruction and meniscus tear, I researched far and wide and first noticed Mr Trikha on the Surrey Orthopaedic Clinic website and then as a cited expert on the BBC website, where I learned ACL reconstructions were his speciality and that he does over 150 ACL reconstructions a year. I was able to book in for a consultation within a few days and, from the first meeting, he instilled complete confidence and trust in his recommended procedure and rationale. As a keen sportsman in my 30’s (with hopefully a lot of sporting years ahead) he was patient in answering all my questions and that he had confidence in not just getting me up on my feet but getting me back to squash and distance running. I’m writing this 4 weeks post-op and I’m delighted with the speed of my recovery and the post op examination showed the operation had been successful and the joint is strong and stable. I can't recommend Mr Trikha highly enough and am extremely grateful to him and the team at the Runnymede for their care but most importantly the outcome of successful reconstruction and path ahead back to competitive sports.
